Bill August, Founder of Liberty Pattern Company, and his "museum" of antique pattern making tools, woodworking equipment, and other interesting collectibles. Feel free to stop by for an informal tour.

A History of Excellence

"Liberty Pattern Company was born in a two-bay service station, July, 1981, with the first jobs received that September. From the first, I determined that our shop would produce only top quality work with on-time or early deliveries. In 1986, we became leaders in computer-generated pattern construction. Over the years we have expanded to a completely modern 35,000 sq. ft. facility under one roof, with 20 employees. We've always strived to have the leading edge equipment."

Liberty Pattern Company - a midsize family-owned and operated company - produces casting tooling for the aerospace, aircraft, agricultural, automotive and many other industries, with an increasing emphasis on the aerospace and aircraft industries. We pride ourselves on our quality, on-time delivery and our pattern engineering expertise. We also take pride in our reputation for dedicated customer service.

In our operations, Liberty Pattern employs a mix of old-time craftsmanship and the latest computer-assisted design and manufacturing technologies which are constantly upgraded to assure product excellence. We are capable of producing very simple to very large complex patterns, consisting of one-piece or several hundred pieces - some with intricate interior passageways and exacting tolerances that would test the abilities of any master patternmaker.

The company is divided into three major manufacturing departments: Wood and Plastic, Metal, and CNC Shop areas, housed in a climate-controlled 35,000 sq. ft. facility. A family member supervises each department. This ensures smooth workflow between the departments and our teams of highly skilled patternmakers, support people, and management. It's proven a very efficient and cost effective way to build tooling.

You'll find our performance bar is constantly being raised -and raised again - to meet the increasingly exacting requirements of our customers. Due to the supplier/customer teamwork demands, we participate in concurrent engineering. This has showcased our ability to meet strict deadlines and deliver the best possible quality. We even operate our own fleet of trucks for the quickest, least cost delivery anywhere in North America. We will continue as a team player to deliver patterns to our customers, from concept/design to final product, anywhere in the world exactly as specified in the shortest possible time.

Next time you need to purchase casting tooling, give us a call. We are more than just a pattern shop. Liberty Pattern Company will meet your pattern making goals the first time, on time, every time - now and in the future.
